Due
to the generosity of our supporters, the children didn't
let the summer pass by without spending some precious
happy moments with their families.
Last May 6, the kids had
an outing at CJ resort in Montalban. It was a whole day
of swimming attended by 200 people.
The day started with Bro.
Joe Dean leading the group with prayer and worship.
Throughout the day, everyone enjoyed the adobo and egg.
For dessert, they had a bar of chocolate donated by
Hersheys! There was videoke also. Everyone went home
at 5pm.
Another outing was held last May 26 at a Balara Resort.
It was attended by 150 people, mostly scholars and their
parents.
Having an early 7 AM
start, they met in Proj. 6 where the old He Cares center
was located. The swimming started with a prayer and song
by Bro. Joe Dean and was followed by a dance number by
the household boys.
Adobo and egg filled their
tummies again as well as sweet corn in the morning and
chocolate from hershey's for dessert. There was also
videoke. It ended at 5 PM.
Best of all, the
resort was free of charge!!! A big thank you to Ms.
Esther Yusingco of Balara who allowed the children this
rare privilegeI Also to Robby Santos who provided for
the transportation for these events!
