We at the He
Cares Foundation want to share the blessing of being able to change
lives! Help us to help
as many children as possible. There are many
ways you can help...
Share your financial resources with the street children of
the Philippines. Support He Cares Foundation with a donation. Any
amount you give, large or small, will make a real difference to a
street child in need.
You may choose to make a donation for a specific purpose, or
you may choose to donate to our general fund, to cover the most
pressing needs.
If you are
celebrating a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary, you
may want to consider asking for a donation for He Cares Foundation in
lieu of gifts.
Donate food, clothes, books, toys, shoes and bags or share
whatever you can.
If you have contacts with supermarkets, restaurants,
bakeshops, or manufacturers of food, drugs, toiletries or other
supplies, you can help us by soliciting and coordinating donations of
their products. Even products which are nearing the expiry date are
gladly accepted.
Share your time and skills with the street children. Anyone
can volunteer. You don't have to be a professional social worker, or
teacher, but you have to have a heart that is open and willing to help
the children.
You can be a tutor,
teach the children and their families livelihood skills, or help in the
feeding program or in the other activities in the Center. Come and join
us! We will find something for you to do (and we are open to
suggestions!).

faith that happen daily at He Cares Foundation.
The He Cares
Foundation invites you to be a channel of God’s blessing to the
poor.
For many years now, the He Cares
Foundation has been providing for the physical and spiritual needs of
local street children. At present, an average of 40 to 50 children
benefit from the once-a-day feeding accompanied by daily prayer and
bible sharing. The drop-in center also gives these children a place to
go in case of emergencies, such as illness. In addition, the foundation
is currently working with the Red Cross to educate these children and
their families on health and nutrition and is in negotiations with DECS
to allow the center to provide credited non-formal education.
But
there is still so much to be done. The
ultimate vision of the foundation is, of course, to get children off
the streets and enable them to live healthy, safe, normal lives and
become happy and productive individuals of our society. Among other
things, we would like to increase feeding to three times a day, provide
a permanent shelter, and increase educational (click here
for more info on education) and
livelihood programs. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help.
