Jerome or Jed is
our eldest child. He recently graduated
Salutatorian from the Cradle of Joy Learning
Center (COJ). I couldn’t contain my tears when
I got this news from the school. Seven years
ago when Jed was set to go to Grade 1, my wife,
Ardis, wanted no less than COJ for him.
It sounded impossible because both of us were
full-time missionaries receiving meager
allowances only. We prayed and asked the Lord
that if it is His will, then He will provide.
And surely He did abundantly!
Jed was accepted as a scholar of the school
which guaranteed him a 25% discount. The PTA
Board did the same thing by sponsoring another
25%. What we thought was good enough wasn’t
with God.
He touched the heart of a couple who paid for
the remaining 50% of his tuition fee. This went
on for the entire primary education of Jerome.
Glory to our God and King! Now, Jed is gearing
up for his high school studies. He will be going
to the Ateneo. His tuition fee will be
shouldered by a generous brother. Without any
doubt, all his other needs will be provided for
by Yahweh Jireh, the Lord Provider.
