Balik-Kalusugan (Back to Health) Program

Coordinator: Joe Dean Sola

The Balik-Kalusugan Program, literally translated as "Back to Health", seeks to provide regular quality feeding for the street children as well as health care through regular medical and dental check-ups and other means of support as needed.

The regular quality feeding, called a "party" is held weekly at the Foundation Center. The free medical / dental clinic is held weekly at the He Cares Village in Montalban, Rizal as well as in the Center.

The Foundation also provides the street children with medicine during emergencies.

Ways to Help

There are many ways you can help improve the health conditions of the street children.

  • You may make a donation to fund the program and buy food, medicines and other supplies.

  • You may donate supplies such as food, medicine, vitamins, toothpaste, toothbrushes and other needs, in kind.

  • If you have contacts with supermarkets, restaurants, bakeshops, or manufacturers of food, medicine. vitamins, toiletries or other supplies, you can help us by soliciting and coordinating donations of their products. Even products which are nearing the expiry date are gladly accepted.

  • You may help us get donations from corporate sponsors.

  • You may volunteer to help us with the weekly feeding program for the street children.

  • If you are a doctor or dentist, you may volunteer to give check-ups to the children. Email us for more information.

In whatever way you help, you can make a difference in the lives of the street children.
